The american version of Lars von Triers Riget is in almost all respects inferior to the original.

Riget is a work of art.

I wouldn't give that credit to Kingdom Hospital. But, there is a but.

Kingdom hospital has an element that is a true work of art. Antubis. The monster anteater, his shape, anatomy and fur, his movements and his integration into the scenes are a true masterpiece of art.

I sillily get annoyed by people who can't see individual pieces of masterful art just because the main concept it appears in is an inferior remake of masterful original.

Riget is the superior TV-series by far. But Antubis is beautiful, and where the directors and actors does a job that pales in the light of the original the CGI team that created Antubis deserve an Oscar.
